Should all CEO’s work for a $1 a year if they accept taxpayer bailout money?

Is the automaker/GM CEO who is willing to work for $1 a year on the right track?

I’m not opposed to helping companies avoid bankruptcy, but a company’s CEO who runs a company into the ground should not be walking away with millions of $$$ and a yacht.

the $1 is a joke, the CEO’s don’t care for the buck like they don’t care about there salaries which is also very low, the bulk of there income comes from all the stocks they get when they take the job. and that’s there real incentive to see that the company does the best that it can so there stock goes up and they can sell off pieces of it for huge profits. they don’t want to fail but its not as easy as it looks, do you think they just go to work and say, lets sell more cars today and call a guy on the phone and say, make a new car commercial,

its alot more complicated then that. that one CEO job is what they been traiing for there entire lives in school and in the field and once they loss it they will most likly never find another job in that position again.
