Do you need any licensing to operate a 40 foot motor yacht if your under 18? What about if your over 18?
My dad owns a 40′ yacht. Do you need any license to drive a boat that big whether your under or over 18?

How many passengers can most 25 to 35 foot yachts carry?
Everywhere I look for passenger and weight capacities for boats they are listed simply as “Yacht Certified.” Is there a rule of thumb for determining how many passengers a boat can carry? I need to know in order to figure out how large a boat I need to buy.

How do I install a properller shaft from engine to stern of yacht?
I am thinking of installing a second hand small (8hp) diesel engine into a 24ft yacht and not sure what to do on the stern…do I go for a stuffing box or is there a newer/better system etc.
