Why do people who own yachts feel that they can flout the rules?

Posted by Admin on April 3rd, 2010 under Luxury Yachts Tags: , ,  •  4 Comments

They do stupid things, departing from any known navigational rules, putting the livelyhood, and liberty of licensed mariners at risk. Thing like anchoring in a busy channel, being a sailboat and always assuming that they have rights. Any answers Yachties? I pray for these people to be sucked to the crushing black depths for their stupidity.

The boating industry is in a slump shouldn’t Washington give away money so people can buy new boats?

Posted by Admin on April 1st, 2010 under Boating and Yachting Tags: , ,  •  8 Comments

Wouldn’t that stimulate the economy?

I have my eye on a new Cobalt…

Why shouldn’t the government subsidize the boating industry like they are doing the car industry?

Is it because they already own most of the car industry?

Thanks guys
45 Auto, you tell me. I’m writing a script and it requires the characters to travel from San Diego to Cuba.

What kind of Yacht do you recommend?

What do we need to know about boating on the Missouri River?

Posted by Admin on March 30th, 2010 under Boating and Yachting Tags: , ,  •  2 Comments

We just bought a 1999 Bayliner, open bow, 18ft. We want to use it this summer for boating on the Missouri river. We have never owned or driven a boat before, but my parents had one all my life so I have always been around them. We always went to the lake tho and I know the river is alot different. What’s the best way to get started and what do we need to know? We’ve already taken the MO conservation test online. What next? Thanks!
